"Corvette Pooch Contestants"

The Pooch contest is over. We had over 1,400 ballots submitted! The votes were very close, sometimes only a handful of points apart. The top five votes went as follow:

Here are some more pics of Gretaa Garbo. She is 7.5-year-old one and a half pound yorkie for the "photo shoot". Greta has won a total of 13 dog shows in IL, FL and MO. You will remember her I am sure.

#3 Brady
Here is a picture of our German Shepherd Brady - he stands out very well since he is pure white and his car is a '98 Vette - triple black. He is about 4 in the picture. He would sleep in the car if he was allowed and the only thing he likes doing more than being in the car is spending time in the pool and playing catch with a tennis ball. He weighs about 100 lbs. and could stand on his hind legs and put his paws on my shoulders and I am 6'3".

Clark Kirby is the proud owner of "Jin-Li" from Arlington, Texas. He is a 7-yr.-old male Shih-Tzu. The car is a '65 Corvette Sting Ray Coupe, and has been awarded the NCRS Top Flight 3 times ('89, '90, '09).

#8 Sophie

Sophie is a schnauzer that is from a rescue group. They claim that she is about 10 years old but we are a bit leery of that. She sure seems a lot younger. She has become a very well behaved, loveable little girl. The Corvette is an L-82 1980 that I inherited after my best friend passed away New Year's Day when helping another friend work on his Corvette. I shall keep showing the car in Bob Purvis' memory, if it's ok with Sophie.

This is CiCi. She is a 5-year old white West Highland Terrier. Her Corvette is a Riverside Red 1963 Stingray Coupe 340 HP 4-speed. She resides in Lancaster, Ohio with Ruth Ann and Dusty Kline.

#10 Luigi Valentino Baldo

This is Luigi Valentino Baldo. The fun people at the Chevy booth did this photo of him at the NCM last year. Luigi was a gift to my wife before she was my wife on Valentines day of 2007. And before our wedding at Corvettes@Carlisle in 2007. Luigi is about to turn 5 this year. He comes racing with us and doesn't seem to mind the noise. He also lives with two cats. Honey and Sweetie.
